Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup kellogg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chopped nutmeats
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Blend shortening and sugar thoroughly; add egg and beat well.
  2. Stir in All-Bran, bananas, and vanilla.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add dry ingredients to the first mixture with nutmeats, stirring only until combined.
  5. Spread in a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F about 1 hour.
