Hungry Man’S Dinner
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pounds ground beef ⓘ
- 2 celery ribs, sliced ⓘ
- 1 medium onion, chopped ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper ⓘ
- 1 garlic clove, minced ⓘ
- 1 can (16 ounces) pork and beans ⓘ
- 1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans or chickpeas, rinsed and drained ⓘ
- 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste ⓘ
- 3/4 cup water ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon paprika ⓘ
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook beef, celery, onion, green pepper and garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until heated through.
