Ingredients

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp. cumin powder
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1/3 cup pitted ripe olives
  • 1/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • sour cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Add chili powder and cumin powder to the meat and cook until fragrant.
  3. Chop the iceberg lettuce and place it on a serving plate.
  4. Add tortilla chips on top of the lettuce.
  5. Spread the cooked ground beef over the chips and lettuce.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the meat.
  7. Top with diced tomatoes, sliced green pepper, and pitted ripe olives.
  8. Serve with sour cream as a topping or side.
