Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/4 green pepper, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • chili powder to taste (1 tsp. or more)
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. cooked and drained noodles
  • grated Velveeta cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground chuck in a skillet.
  2. Add chopped onion and chopped green pepper to the beef.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and chili powder to taste.
  4. Add canned chopped tomatoes to the mixture.
  5. Combine the cooked and drained noodles with the beef mixture.
  6. Transfer all ingredients to a casserole dish.
  7. Sprinkle grated Velveeta cheese over the top.
  8. Bake until heated through and the cheese is melted.
