Ingredients

  • 16 saltine crackers, crumbled
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 lb. sausage
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix together the crumbled saltine crackers, hamburger meat, eggs, salt, sage, milk, sausage, chopped onion, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  3. Bake in a 350°F oven for approximately 60 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. For better flavor, mix the meat loaf and refrigerate overnight or freeze before baking.
