- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 10-inch pie plate.
- If using fresh green beans, cook in boiling salted water for 5 minutes, then cover and cook 5 to 10 minutes until tender. Drain.
- Mix green beans, mushrooms, chopped onion, crushed garlic, and shredded Cheddar cheese in the pie plate.
- In a blender or with a hand mixer, beat eggs, milk, Bisquick, salt, and pepper until smooth, about 15 seconds in a blender or 1 minute with a hand mixer.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bean mixture in the pie plate.
- Bake until a knife inserted between the center and edge comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes.
- Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
