Ingredients

  • 1 lb. extra lean ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. shredded fat free cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. Reduced Fat Bisquick
  • 1 c. fat free skim milk
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Cook ground beef and chopped onion until beef is browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in salt and spread the cooked beef mixture evenly in the pie plate.
  4. Sprinkle shredded fat-free cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  5. In a separate bowl, stir together Reduced Fat Bisquick, fat-free skim milk, and eggs until blended.
  6. Pour the batter evenly over the cheese and beef mixture in the pie plate.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes, or 30 to 35 minutes at high altitude, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
