Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick oleo (butter)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (13 oz.) can pumpkin
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 c. sugar (white or brown)

Instructions

  1. Mix the cake mix, butter, and egg until crumbly.
  2. Reserve 1 cup of the mixture for topping.
  3. Press the remaining mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form the crust.
  4. In a bowl, combine the pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and sugar.
  5. Pour the pumpkin mixture over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture over the top.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 60 minutes or until set and golden.
