Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large can tomato juice
  • 1 box macaroni
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley

Instructions

  1. Fry ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet until browned.
  2. Drain the grease and set the beef and onion mixture aside.
  3. Boil water and cook macaroni until tender, then drain.
  4. Add tomato juice, ground beef mixture, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and salt to the cooked macaroni.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil again, then remove from heat.
  6. Serve in soup bowls, optionally with crackers and peanut butter for a cozy, warm meal.
