A flavorful baked cod fillet marinated in a milk mixture, glazed with paprika oil, breaded, and baked to flaky perfection, ideal for a light, elegant meal.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. fillet of cod
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Marinate the cod fillet in a mixture of milk, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper for one hour.
  2. Remove the fish from the marinade and blend paprika with oil, then brush the mixture onto the fish.
  3. Roll the fish in bread crumbs to coat evenly.
  4. Place the coated fish in a baking pan.
  5. Brush the fish with melted butter and pour white wine over it.
  6. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the fish flakes.
