Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 or 2 lb. round steak
  • 2 c. bread stuffing
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Pound the meat to 1/4-inch thickness.
  2. Combine bread stuffing, chopped celery, melted margarine, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread the stuffing evenly over the meat; roll up and tie with kitchen twine or secure with toothpicks, or wrap in aluminum foil.
  4. Place the rolled meat in a baking pan or dish.
  5. Add water to the pan.
  6. Bake in a 350°F oven for 1 hour.
