A hearty broccoli bake featuring creamy mushroom and cheddar flavors, topped with crispy onion rings. Perfect for family dinners or comforting gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch broccoli
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 4 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can onion rings
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the chopped broccoli in salted water until tender, then drain.
  2. Place the cooked broccoli in an ovenproof square baking dish.
  3. Mix the milk and cream of mushroom soup together, then pour half over the broccoli.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Sprinkle half of the onion rings on top of the soup layer.
  6. Add shredded Cheddar cheese, sliced mushrooms, and the remaining soup over the layers.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, then add the remaining onion rings on top.
  9. Bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
