Ingredients

  • 3 cups cornbread mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups sweet milk
  • 1/2 cup jalapeno peppers, cut up
  • 1 cup creamed corn
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 large onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  6. Cut into pieces, serve warm or store in the freezer for later use.
  7. Reheat before serving as desired.
