Ingredients

  • 6 English muffins, split
  • 1/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup jam or preserves
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flaked coconut or sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F.
  2. Spread the cut surface of each muffin half with 1 teaspoon of margarine and jam.
  3. Sprinkle with brown sugar and coconut or sliced almonds.
  4. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 5 minutes or until bubbly and brown.
