Ingredients

  • 3 medium Red Delicious apples, unpeeled and diced
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup red seedless grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine apples, celery, grapes, and walnuts in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  2. Mix sour cream and lemon juice in a separate bowl.
  3. Whip the cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the sour cream mixture.
  5. Pour the creamy mixture over the fruit and nut mixture.
  6. Gently stir to combine.
  7. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg before serving.
