Tips & Substitutions

For an extra flavor boost, consider adding a splash of sesame oil or a teaspoon of ginger to the mix. If you prefer a heartier dish, substitute brown rice for Minute rice; just adjust the cooking time accordingly. Feel free to swap the Japanese-style vegetables with your favorites, such as broccoli or bell peppers. For a vegetarian twist, opt for vegetable broth instead of water.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this flavorful rice medley alongside grilled chicken or tofu for a complete meal. It also pairs beautifully with Cho Na-Mool(Korean Cabbage Salad) for a refreshing contrast. For a more substantial meal, consider adding protein such as shrimp or beef to the dish. Garnish with additional green onions for a pop of color and flavor.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, add a splash of water to the mixture and cover while microwaving to retain moisture. Alternatively, reheat in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until warmed through. This dish can also be frozen for up to a month.
