Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground steak
  • 1/2 lb. loose sausage
  • 1 1/2 chopped onions
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 6 eggs

Instructions

  1. Mix ground steak, sausage, chopped onions, salt, Accent, pepper, bread crumbs, and eggs well.
  2. Form the mixture into a loaf shape.
  3. Top the loaf with bacon slices.
  4. Pour 2 cups of tomato juice over the loaf.
  5. Cover the loaf with foil.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 2 hours, removing the foil during the last half hour.
