Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • 2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 2 oz. Mexene chili powder
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 5 oz. bag egg noodles
  • 1 c. creamed corn
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 pt. tomato juice
  • 1/2 c. barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onions in a large skillet or pot.
  2. Add chili powder, creamed corn, ketchup, tomato juice, barbecue sauce, and Tabasco sauce to the meat and onions.
  3. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  4. Cook the egg noodles in 1 quart of boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  5. Add the cooked noodles and some of the cooking water to the sauce.
  6. Simmer everything together for an additional hour before serving.
