Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 bag egg noodles
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • 1 can green peas
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 or 2 chopped onions

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger, chopped onions, and small bell pepper until tender.
  2. Add canned tomatoes and green peas to the meat mixture and cook briefly.
  3. Remove from heat and drain some liquid if necessary.
  4. Stir in the mushroom soup and cream cheese until well combined.
  5. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  6. Mix the cooked noodles into the meat and sauce mixture.
  7. Add sour cream and butter, then stir until smooth and heated through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished as desired.
