Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. ketchup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger with the chopped onion and season with salt and pepper.
  2. If using, add the mushrooms to the meat mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the condensed cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and sour cream to make the sauce.
  4. Stir the sauce into the meat mixture and heat through.
  5. Serve the stroganoff over hot egg noodles.
