Jill'S Apple Puffs

Instructions
- Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder.
- Add sugar, walnuts, pumpkin pie spice and apples that have been peeled, cored and chopped.
- Mix to a rather stiff batter with eggs and milk. Drop by spoonful into hot oil and cook until puffs are golden brown and apples are tender.
- Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
