Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 cans pinto beans
  • 1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with onion powder and garlic powder.
  2. Add pinto beans and tomato juice and tomato sauce.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Make a paste from water, chili powder, flour, and sugar.
  5. Add salt and stir the paste into the chili mixture.
  6. Simmer until the chili thickens.
