Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Juniorette macaroni
  • 2 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Juniorette macaroni until tender, then drain and rinse, and set aside.
  2. Shred the cabbage finely.
  3. Dice the onion and cucumber.
  4. Remove seeds from the green pepper and chop.
  5. In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, shredded cabbage, diced onion, cucumber, and chopped green pepper.
  6. In a separate small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, and salt to taste, then whisk until smooth.
  7. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine thoroughly.
