Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix without pudding
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2/3 cup liquid (water, pineapple, or orange)
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped English nuts
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 6 or 7 cherries, cut up

Instructions

  1. Combine the yellow cake mix, instant vanilla pudding, oil, eggs, vanilla, and liquid in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix for 10 minutes until well blended, then add the remaining ingredients: coconut, chopped nuts, crushed pineapple, and cherries.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased tube pan.
  4. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool before serving.
