Ingredients

  • 1 large cabbage, chopped
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 red bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped cabbage, green bell peppers, and red bell peppers and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, cornstarch, egg, and vinegar and cook over low heat until thickened.
  3. Cool the mixture completely.
  4. Mix the cooled sauce with salt, black pepper, prepared mustard, and the chopped vegetables.
