Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • black pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. dried onions
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/4 c. sharp cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. green olives, chopped
  • 4 oz. elbow macaroni

Instructions

  1. Cook green pepper until tender.
  2. Add browned and drained hamburger, tomato sauce, water, chili powder, black pepper, dried onions, and garlic powder to the pan.
  3. Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook elbow macaroni for 12 minutes until al dente.
  5. Add cooked macaroni and chopped green olives to the hamburger mixture, stirring to combine.
