Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Bisquick
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Stir 1 cup Bisquick and the milk into a soft dough.
  2. Gently smooth dough into a ball on a floured board.
  3. Knead the dough.
  4. Roll dough to make a pie crust.
  5. Ease the dough into a pie plate.
  6. Cook and stir ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  7. Stir in salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons Bisquick, and Worcestershire sauce.
  8. Spoon the meat mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  9. Beat eggs slightly and mix with grated Cheddar cheese.
  10. Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the meat filling.
  11. Cover the edge of the pie with a 2 to 3 inch strip of foil to prevent excessive browning.
  12. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes, removing the foil in the last 5 minutes.
  13. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then cut into wedges and serve.
