Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp margarine
  • 1 (16 oz) can sauerkraut
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 1 pound hamburger or sausage
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Fry the hamburger and diced onion until browned.
  2. Drain off the fat.
  3. Stir in the sauerkraut, rice, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the mixture in a crock-pot and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, or transfer to an oven and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
