Sweet and chewy Krispie Date Bars combine soft dates, crunchy Rice Krispies, and walnuts for a delightful treat perfect for snacking or dessert lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 32 chopped pitted dates
  • 1 1/4 cup Rice Krispies
  • 6 chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, simmer the butter and chopped pitted dates until soft, about 15 minutes, covering the pan during cooking.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispies and chopped walnuts.
  3. Pack the mixture into a small pan and press down evenly.
  4. Chill until set, then cut into squares and store in the refrigerator.
