Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except cereal.
  2. Cook for 10 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Add cereal and mix well.
  4. Cool the mixture.
  5. Shape into two logs and roll in powdered sugar.
  6. Refrigerate and slice before serving.
