Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lamb breast
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Cut the lamb breast into five pieces.
  2. Season the lamb with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the lamb in a hot skillet and brown the fatty sides.
  4. Mix chili sauce, red pepper, vinegar, and water to make the sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the lamb pieces.
  6. Slice the onion and add it to the skillet.
  7. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
  8. Remove the lid and cook on medium heat for an additional 20 minutes or until the barbecue sauce is almost absorbed.
