Lapa Sata
Ingredients
- 2 lb. hamburger meat ⓘ
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 large chopped onion ⓘ
- 1 can cream of onion soup ⓘ
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper, chopped ⓘ
- 1 (8 oz.) can Ro-Tel tomatoes ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt ⓘ
- salt to taste ⓘ
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped ⓘ
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup ⓘ
- 12 corn tortillas ⓘ
- American cheese slices
Instructions
- Cook hamburger and onion until meat is done.
- Drain fat.
- Add remaining ingredients (except cheese and tortillas) and simmer 15 minutes.
- Tear tortillas in pieces.
- In a buttered dish, layer tortillas, meat mixture and cheese, ending with cheese.
- Heat in a 350° oven until cheese melts and mixture is bubbly.
