- Melt the butter slightly in the microwave.
- Add sugar and cream together, then add the egg and beat well.
- Mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla until combined.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Flatten each cookie with a fork dipped in sugar and sprinkle a little sugar on top.
- Bake at 350°F for 6 to 8 minutes until light golden brown around the edges.
