Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
  • 1 large avocado
  • dash of hot pepper sauce
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 2 c. bottled picante sauce
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar or Jack cheese
  • tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Spread refried beans on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
  2. Combine mashed avocado, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice; spread evenly on top of the beans.
  3. Top with sour cream, picante sauce, and sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Chill well before serving.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips.
