Ingredients

  • 1 large can refried beans
  • salsa or picante sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 can sliced black olives
  • shredded lettuce
  • chopped green onions (optional)
  • chopped tomatoes
  • shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix the refried beans with 1/2 cup sour cream and spread as the bottom layer in a serving bowl.
  2. Combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1 cup sour cream, and the taco seasoning; spread this mixture over the bean layer.
  3. Layer shredded lettuce on top of the mayo mixture.
  4. Add a layer of chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions (if using), and sliced black olives.
  5. Pour salsa or picante sauce over the vegetables.
  6. Top with shredded Monterey Jack cheese and a sprinkle of shredded Cheddar cheese.
  7. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or your favorite crackers.
