Ingredients

  • 6 c. chopped lettuce
  • 1 c. chopped red cabbage
  • 2 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 1 large can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 large green pepper, sliced
  • 1 large red onion, sliced
  • cauliflower (pull apart)
  • broccoli (pull apart)
  • 1 can sweet peas

Instructions

  1. Place chopped lettuce in a 3-quart glass dish.
  2. Top the lettuce with chopped tomatoes to make the first layer.
  3. Add sliced green pepper as the next layer.
  4. Follow with chopped red cabbage.
  5. Add sliced water chestnuts.
  6. Place pulled apart broccoli florets.
  7. Add sliced red onion.
  8. Finish with pulled apart cauliflower florets.
  9. Arrange the vegetables colorfully without mixing.
  10. Just before serving, top with your favorite salad dressing, such as creamy Italian.
