Leftover Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. chicken broth (use bouillon cube)
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • few sprigs parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp. instant minced onion
  • 1/8 tsp. powdered sage
  • 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. diced cooked pork

Instructions

  1. Cook and drain rice.
  2. Make a sauce with next 4 ingredients. Add parsley, onion, sage and half the cheese.
  3. Stir until cheese is melted; add rice and pork and put in shallow baking dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese and some paprika.
  4. Bake in 375° oven about 30 minutes.
