Lemon-Garlic Broiled Shrimp

Juicy broiled shrimp in a zesty lemon-garlic butter sauce, perfect for seafood lovers and ideal for quick, flavorful dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. in shell shrimp
  • 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • 1 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Peel and devein the shrimp and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, cook garlic in melted butter until tender.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the saucepan.
  5. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a baking pan.
  6. Pour the sauce over the shrimp.
  7. Broil about 4 inches from the heat source for 6 to 8 minutes or until shrimp are pink and tender.
  8. Baste once during broiling with the sauce in the pan.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
  10. Serve with crusty bread to absorb the sauce.
