Lemon Herbed Salmon features a flavorful crust of fresh bread crumbs, garlic, Parmesan, herbs, and lemon zest, perfectly complementing tender baked salmon for an elegant meal.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced ⓘ
- 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh thyme or 1 tablespoon dried thyme ⓘ
- 1 salmon fillet (3 to 4 pounds) ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted and divided ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley ⓘ
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, cheese, thyme, lemon zest, and salt; mix well.
- Add 4 tablespoons of melted butter and toss lightly to coat; set aside.
- Spread the breadcrumb mixture over the salmon fillet.
- Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter over the topping.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
