Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 2 small packages instant lemon pudding

Instructions

  1. Combine flour and 1 cup of chopped walnuts.
  2. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
  3. Press into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool.
  6. Combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar, mixing until well blended.
  7. Fold in one container of Cool Whip.
  8. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  9. Prepare pudding mix with 3 cups of milk and spoon over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
  11. Sprinkle with the remaining chopped walnuts.
  12. Refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.
