Ingredients

  • 1/8 tsp dry mustard
  • Juice of 1/2 large lemon
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, cooked or 2 boxes frozen, cooked
  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper

Instructions

  1. Place cooked asparagus in a shallow greased casserole in a single layer.
  2. Melt butter and heat until golden brown.
  3. Blend in mayonnaise, salt, white pepper, and lemon juice.
  4. Pour the sauce over the asparagus.
  5. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
