Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 chicken breast halves, boned
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 chicken flavored bouillon cube or chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Bone the chicken breasts and pound them to 1/8-inch thickness.
  2. Mix the flour, salt, and pepper to create a coating mixture.
  3. Lightly coat the chicken cutlets with the flour mixture.
  4. Reserve the remaining flour mixture for later use.
  5. In a skillet, melt margarine over medium heat.
  6. Add the coated chicken cutlets and cook until golden brown on each side, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  7. In a separate saucepan, bring water and chicken flavored bouillon cube or chicken broth to a boil.
  8. Pour the broth mixture over the cooked chicken and serve hot.
