Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can kidney beans
  • 16 oz. can pintos
  • 16 oz. can Great Northern beans
  • 16 oz. can white limas
  • 16 oz. can navy beans
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup mustard
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 big onion, chopped fine
  • 1 sweet red pepper
  • 1 sweet green pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix together the kidney beans, pintos, Great Northern beans, white limas, navy beans, barbecue sauce, mustard, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, chopped onion, and diced red and green peppers in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the mixture into a 5-quart Dutch oven.
  3. Lay the slices of bacon on top of the bean mixture.
  4. Bake at 450°F (232°C) until the bacon is done and the beans are heated through, about 60 minutes.
