A creamy, cheesy lima beans casserole with a crunchy topping, perfect as a comforting side dish for family dinners or potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans green lima beans, drained
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small jar pimento, chopped
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 to 10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle crushed Ritz crackers or bread crumbs on top.
  4. Pour melted margarine over the top.
  5. Bake at 350°F until bubbly and golden.
