Lime-Lemon Delight Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) lime or lemon jello
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3/4 c. Puritan oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 2 c. powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine cake mix, jello, water, oil, eggs and salt in large bowl of mixer.
  2. Beat at medium speed for 4 minutes.
  3. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes.
  5. When baked, remove from oven.
  6. Punch holes in cake while still hot, about one-inch deep and one-inch apart.
  7. Do not go to bottom of pan with holes.
