Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 or 2 cans dark red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. chili powder

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper together.
  2. Stir in stewed tomatoes, drained kidney beans, tomato sauce, salt, and chili powder.
  3. Let simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Serve as chili or poured over baked potatoes.
