Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 10 oz noodles
  • 1 small can black olives
  • 0.5 lb grated American cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 can chow mein noodles
  • 0.25 lb salted mixed nuts

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.
  2. Layer cooked noodles, beef mixture, black olives, and grated American cheese in a casserole dish. Repeat layers, ending with beef mixture on top.
  3. Pour diluted cream of mushroom soup over the assembled casserole.
  4. Cover the dish and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  5. Uncover the casserole and sprinkle chow mein noodles and chopped salted nuts over the top.
  6. Bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
