Ingredients

  • 4 cans clams
  • 1 Tbsp. clam juice
  • 1 tsp. sweet basil leaves
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 small onions, minced
  • lots of parsley
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a pan, simmer butter, oil, garlic, onions, and parsley; add the clams, clam juice, and basil.
  2. Simmer gently; do not bring to a boil.
  3. In the remaining clam juice, add cornstarch and stir to combine.
  4. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the clam mixture and stir until thickened.
  5. Pour the sauce over cooked linguini and serve.
