Instructions
- Mix first 5 ingredients.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add egg gradually, tossing with fork until flour mixture is moistened.
- Shape into ball, flatten slightly.
- On floured surface, roll 2/3 of dough into a 16 x 11-inch rectangle. Place in ungreased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan (dough should go up sides).
- Spread pie filling on dough.
- Roll remaining dough 1/4-inch thick; cut strips 1/2-inch wide.
- Crisscross strips over filling.
- Press ends to border.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool in pan.
