Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups ground hazelnuts
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 cup raspberry preserves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Butter a 10-inch diameter spring-form pan.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
  5. Add egg yolks to the butter mixture and blend well.
  6. Gradually mix in ground hazelnuts and dry ingredients until combined to form a dough.
  7. Press the dough evenly into the prepared spring-form pan to form the crust.
  8. Spread raspberry preserves over the crust.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until golden.
  10. Allow to cool before removing from the pan and serving.
